GPC Season 1 V1 Tournament (Open)

Introduction

Hello and welcome to the first ever GPC tournament! This tournament is designed to decide the best of the best, since the top 32 players will be instantly promoted to Code S in V2. The players in this tournament will play in a Best of 3 using the BW1 metagame.The winner will be crowned the GPC V1 Champion, winning a spot in the Hall of Fame, special rank on forums (different colored name), the ability to brag about being a top Pokemon player, and a trophy showing they are a winner of the Official Global Pokemon Cup:

Battle Rules

Sleep Clause: A player cannot put more than one of the opponent's pokemon asleep at the same time.
Species Clause: A player cannot have a 2 pokemon with the same national pokedex number.
Evasion Clause: A player cannot use any attacks that lowers the hitting chance of that pokemon (Double Team, Minimize, ect.)
OHKO Clause: A pokemon may not be carrying a move with a 100% OHKO chance. (Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, ect.)
Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
Wifi Clause: You must have Wifi Clause set in every match.
Moody Clause: A player may not use a Pokémon with the ability Moody.

Tournament Rules

Saving Logs: Make sure to save every log of your games in case of any issues with disconnections or cheating.
Disconnection or Time out: If a player disconnects or times out during a match then the Tournament Directors will go over the log and decide if the match will be redone with the same moves or will be given to the player.
Ghosting: The player in a tournament battle should be the one making their own decisions. Do not tell a player what move to make in a tournament battle, and do not make your moves based on another person's suggestions.
